In the last session we explore our role and whether we are stewarding where God has placed us for His glory.

Session 3: Sheep and Goats 

  1. Consider your role on the team. Do you view it as a calling? How do you show that to others? Are you stewarding your role well? 

  2. Matthew 25:31-33 displays a harsh reality. One day God will judge every person. What criteria will He use? What will He not consider as he separates the sheep from the goats? 

  3. According to Troy the most important way a coach stewards his or her role as coach is to lead players to Jesus Christ. What do you think about that? What would that look like for you to take the call to make disciples seriously? 

  4. In what ways can you serve your competitors or teammates?

  5. How does it feel to be coached by you? How does it feel to coach you?

  6. How does it feel to be served by you?
