Wrestlers should have a strong character. Learn more about the drive to share more than wrestling.

Driven by Faith

Ready:

"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:15

Set:

When we talk about "drive," it's easy to think of the miles we cover on the road. For me, that’s a literal truth. I'm out there driving from Washington to California, Idaho, Oregon and beyond, all to share the love of Jesus with wrestlers and their families. That physical drive is a reflection of a deeper drive, the spiritual passion to see lives transformed by the Gospel.

Think of the Apostle Paul, who journeyed far and wide to spread the Good News. He was relentless, not because the road was easy, but because the message was worth it. Your drive is just as meaningful. Every mile you cover is a testament to the beautiful feet bringing good news.

Remember that this drive isn't just about the smooth journeys. It’s also about persevering through trials and tribulations. Nothing will stop the drive to share the Good News with wrestlers, coaches and parents. Even when I can't meet in person, I find ways to connect, through prayer at tournaments, and through Zoom chapels that bridge any distance. Your commitment shows that the Gospel can’t be confined by geography or circumstance.

As you travel or log in from wherever you are, remember that it's not just about the destination, but the faith that fuels each step. Let Romans 10:15 remind you that your efforts, your miles, and your unwavering commitment are all part of God’s beautiful plan. Whether you're behind the wheel, boarding a flight, or logging into a Zoom chapel, you’re carrying the light of Christ with you.

Go:

  1. Are you driven to share the Gospel with others? Explain.

  2. How can you utilize your time at tournaments, practice or driving to share with others about Jesus?

 Workout:

Matthew 28:18-20
Philippians 4:12-14
1 Peter 3:14-17

 Overtime:

“Dear God, thank you for the drive you’ve placed in my heart, not just the drive to travel, but the drive to share your love through every trial and every mile. May each mile be a mission, each challenge an opportunity, and every encounter a chance to reflect your love, grace, and truth. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.”
