Answer the Call

"'Therefore, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh so that you may lead my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.' But Moses asked God, 'Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?' He answered, 'I will certainly be with you and this will be the sign to you that I am the one who sent you: when you bring the people out of Egypt, you will all worship God at this mountain.'" - Exodus 3:10-12

SET

When God calls us to action, we may not be ready or feel able to respond to His call. Just like Moses, when God called him to go lead God’s people out of Egypt, we may be reluctant and have questions about whether we can do what God asks. Moses expressed his fear, and God responded, “I will be with you.” What more could we ask? If God is with us, is there anything we cannot do?

God may call you to try something you’re afraid of, to strive for new skills or strength in your sport, or to be a better teammate, coach or leader. God may ask you to befriend the teammate nobody else likes. God may call you to own up to a rule violation. God at times puts in our paths the chance to honor Him, to obey Him and above all to TRUST He will be with us and give us what we need. When He does, be like Moses. Answer the call. Give 100% to God.
