Living It Out
But let’s be honest—community doesn’t just happen. In our digital age, it’s easier than ever to scroll in silence rather than show up in real life.
It takes effort. It takes margin. It takes vulnerability. It takes holding space in our lives and our calendars to prioritize real connection.
For me, one of the ways I’ve tried to do that is with a group of women in my local church. We meet once a month, and we use a simple framework called ACTS:
A – Adoration- What do I adore about God in this season?
C – Confession- What do I need to confess?
T – Thanksgiving- What am I thankful for right now?
S – Supplication- What prayer requests can I share?
This simple rhythm helps us cut through surface, truly see each other and carry one another’s burdens.
And every time I walk away, I remember: I am not alone.
