Genesis 1:26-28

Living It Out

We ask questions like:

  • What kind of rest do I need?

  • When will I prepare meals to nourish my body?

  • When can I move my body to build strength and stamina?

  • What kind of care does my emotional health need?

  • These are good and necessary questions.

And often the simplest shifts make the biggest impact. One of my favorite practical tools is the power of 15 minutes.

  • 15 minutes of movement

  • 15 minutes of meal prep

  • 15 minutes of silence

  • 15 minutes of journaling

  • 15 minutes of delight or laughter or sunshine

You don’t need a retreat or an overhaul to care well for yourself. You just need the willingness to consistently say yes to small moments of stewardship.

Remember this:

  • I am loved by God.

  • I am made in His likeness.

  • I am limited, and that's not a flaw—it's part of His design.
